Make That Seven New Principals, Not Five
Turns out Wednesday's story undercounted. Two more Dublin schools have new principals we didn't know about yet.
At Davis Middle School, Jason Snyder is moving up to principal after serving as the school's assistant principal — an internal promotion, so there's real continuity there heading into the year.
At Eli Pinney, principal Josh Page is stepping into a new district-wide role, Director of PK-5 School Leadership, supporting elementary leaders across Dublin. Taking his place is Amber Brown, currently assistant principal at Olde Sawmill, pending board approval. Brown's spent her entire career in this district — she started in 2005 as an intervention specialist at Indian Run, then moved into administration in 2021.
That brings the real number to seven principal changes this year, not five — out of 23 schools total in the district. Nearly a third of Dublin's buildings will open in August with someone new, or newly moved up, running the office.

11,000 Gallons of Beer and Two Weeks of Cleanup
Yesterday, The Dispatch had a fun behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to run the festival, and a few details stood out that we haven't covered yet.
Last year's crowd went through 11,000 gallons of beer, including 3,500 gallons of Guinness. And once the weekend wraps, it's not like the park just resets — Dublin spends around two weeks clearing Coffman Park, with most of the heavy lifting happening in the first couple of days after everyone leaves.
As always, weather in Ohio is somewhat unpredictable, but as of Friday night, today's forecast is calling for a real chance of rain, so bring an umbrella if you're headed down. Tomorrow looks better.
