See What's Moving Before Wall Street Wakes Up

Most of us hear about a stock move after it happens — an earnings report, an AI contract, a sector suddenly running — and by the time the news reaches us, the opportunity is gone.

We created Elite Trade Club to fix that.

Each trading day, our team publishes a pre-market briefing built for active traders: stocks surging or collapsing before the open, key earnings that could move markets, under-the-radar companies gaining institutional attention, and the macro events worth watching today.

Fast, practical, straight to the point.

That's why 450,000+ traders rely on us every morning. Get the daily briefing free — no cost, no catch.

Dublin Soccer Is Having Quite a Year

If you follow high school soccer in Dublin, you've probably had plenty to cheer about this fall.

And with the state playoffs getting underway, it's worth looking at just how well some of our local teams have been doing.

Dublin Jerome's boys, who won the Division I state championship last year, finished the regular season 14-2-1 and were ranked No. 3 in Ohio in Cleveland.com's final rankings released Tuesday. They even held the No. 1 spot late in the season.

But it's not just the boys. Jerome's girls were ranked No. 4 in Ohio's Division I in MaxPreps' October 15 rankings, with a 12-2 record. And Dublin Coffman's girls weren't far behind, ranked No. 8 with an 8-2-4 record.

That's three Dublin high school soccer teams ranked among the best in the state as tournament play begins.

And as if that weren't enough, remember Avery Decker, the Jerome freshman we told you about last month? She was just selected for the U.S. Under-15 Girls' National Team again. This time, she's heading to Mexico City with 21 other players for a tournament against Uruguay, Paraguay and Mexico later this month.

Not a bad time to be a soccer fan in Dublin.

Dublin Wants Your Unwanted Stuff

You know that stack of old paperwork you've been meaning to shred for the past three years? Or those expired medications taking up space in your bathroom cabinet?

Well, Dublin would like you to get rid of them. And this Saturday, the city is making it easy.

Dublin Wants Your Unwanted Stuff

October 24 is both Document Destruction Day and Drug Take Back Day, which means you can finally cross two of those annoying little chores off your list.

Old bank statements, outdated paperwork and medications you no longer need can all go.

So if you've been looking for an excuse to clean out a drawer or two, this might be it.

Just remember: it's two different events at two different locations, so make sure you take the right stuff to the right place.

250 Veterans' Stories, One Dublin School

Every veteran has a story. And at Dublin Scioto High School, students have spent the past several weeks making sure those stories aren't forgotten.

On November 5, Scioto's main hallway will turn into something of a museum, with more than 250 storyboards honoring veterans from students' families and the community.

Each board is created by a sophomore history student who interviews a veteran or someone close to them, then brings their military experience to life through photographs, memories and personal stories.

And this has become quite a tradition. Over the past 12 years, Scioto students have honored more than 2,500 veterans.

This year's event is being led by Scioto senior Anna Norfleet, a leader of the school's Purple Star Club, who will also host the opening ceremony.

“Whenever someone asks me about the event I always tell them that you just have to experience it to understand the true meaning of why we do it,” Anna told Dublin Daily.

The afternoon begins with a ceremony featuring student speakers, a keynote speaker and a video created by the Purple Star Club. Visitors can then explore the displays before students sit down with veterans for conversations about their service.

The event is Thursday, November 5, from 3:30 to 6 p.m. at Dublin Scioto High School, and everyone in the community is welcome. You don't need to know one of the students or veterans to attend.

You Asked How to Help. Here’s How.

A few of you have reached out asking how you can support Dublin Daily — and honestly, it means a lot just to hear that. Here's what actually helps.

The single biggest thing: forward this to a neighbor, a friend, or anyone who loves Dublin and might not know we exist yet. Word of mouth is everything for a local newsletter. Or just share dublinohiodaily.com next time Dublin comes up in conversation.

If you ever have a tip — a local business worth spotlighting, an event coming up, something happening in your neighborhood — hit reply and tell us. That's the fuel that keeps this going.

We also have sponsors who make Dublin Daily free. If something catches your eye, click their links — it makes a real difference.

Thanks for being here. Dublin is a better place to live when we're all looking out for each other — and that's really what all this is about.
