Still Cleaning Up From Saturday’s Storm? Here’s What Dublin Offers.

If you've got branches down from Saturday, the city has two ways to help. For larger trimmings over five feet, you can request curbside chipper service through GoDublin — crews are working through a backlog right now so give it a little time. For smaller branches four feet or under, bundle them with twine or put loose material in biodegradable bags marked "Yard Waste" and set them out Monday for regular pickup. Keep each bundle or bag under 50 pounds.

Residential requests are being handled before parks and public spaces, so if you've already put in a request, you're in the queue.

And if you're out cleaning up this week, worth checking in on a neighbor who might need an extra hand.

Something New Recently Opened at North Market Bridge Park

If you've not been to North Market Bridge Park lately, there's a new spot worth trying. BBQ & The Pier opened in late May in the space that used to be Colo Market & Oyster Bar, serving fresh oysters, fish and chips, barbecue, and what they're calling coastal-inspired comfort food.

The concept is led by two Columbus restaurant veterans. One of them you might already know — Enis Ndreu, who founded Holy Crepes back in 2017 and runs the Holy Crepes stand right there at North Market Dublin. His partner Elvis Lloshi spent a decade managing Iron Grill in Clintonville before it closed earlier this year.

Worth a stop next time you're in Bridge Park.

He Came to Work the Memorial. He Didn’t Make It Home.

Some sad news connected to our tournament. Bryce Adair was a 31-year-old CBS Sports production assistant who came to Dublin this week to help broadcast the Memorial. He died Saturday morning from injuries suffered in a car crash Wednesday night. He had an Emmy on his shelf from CBS's Super Bowl broadcast and was training to become a steadicam operator. Everyone who knew him said the same thing — warm smile, kind soul, lit up every room.

Jim Nantz stopped the broadcast Saturday to say goodbye. He told viewers he'd never seen 250 people carry that much grief into a production in over 40 years. "The world was his and he deserved the world."

He came here to do a job he loved. Our condolences to his family. Full story here.

A Note From Nick

You Asked How to Help. Here’s How.

A few of you have reached out asking how you can support Dublin Daily — and honestly, it means a lot just to hear that. Here's what actually helps.

The single biggest thing: forward this to a neighbor, a friend, or anyone who loves Dublin and might not know we exist yet. Word of mouth is everything for a local newsletter. Or just share dublinohiodaily.com next time Dublin comes up in conversation.

If you ever have a tip — a local business worth spotlighting, an event coming up, something happening in your neighborhood — hit reply and tell us. That's the fuel that keeps this going.

We also have sponsors who make Dublin Daily free. If something catches your eye, click their links — it makes a real difference.

Thanks for being here. Dublin is a better place to live when we're all looking out for each other — and that's really what all this is about.
