Most Men Notice Aging All at Once

Men's skin is 25% thicker than women's. That sounds like an advantage. It isn't. Thicker skin delays the visible signs of aging — until collagen drops. And when it drops, it drops hard: heavier eye bags, deeper wrinkles, dark spots, loss of firmness. All at once. Most men were never taught to get ahead of it. That's where Particle Face Cream comes in. A 6-in-1 formula engineered specifically for men's skin — reduces eye bags, dark spots, and wrinkles, restores firmness, hydrates deeply, revives dull tone. Two minutes a day. No complicated routine. Over 1,000,000 men already use it. Try it risk-free with a 30-day money-back guarantee. 20% off with code BH20.

Dublin's Alerts Came Through on Saturday

If last night felt a little uncertain for a while, that's because it was. Storms moved through Dublin right as the evening celebration was getting started at Coffman, forcing the city to suspend the event mid-stream. Adam Sanders, who was set to open the night, ended up getting canceled entirely.

But the city handled it well. Updates went out in real time through GoDublin TXT as conditions changed, and by the time The Wallflowers took the stage at 8:10 p.m. and fireworks lit up the sky at 9:50, most people probably forgot there'd been any delay at all. That kind of communication during a fast-moving situation is harder than it looks — and Dublin does it better than most.

If you weren't already getting those real-time updates last night, it's worth knowing the service exists. More on GoDublin TXT here.

A Merger and What It Means for Dublin

Kroger announced this week it's buying Giant Eagle for $1.65 billion — and if you shop at either one, this is worth paying attention to.

In Dublin, these two stores aren't just competing in the same city. The Giant Eagle Market District on Perimeter Loop Road and the Kroger on Hospital Drive are about half a mile apart. For a lot of us, having both right there has meant a real choice. When the same company owns both, that changes.

Whether it actually gets that far is still an open question. Kroger tried this before, pursuing a much larger deal with Albertsons that regulators killed specifically because of competition concerns in markets where the two chains competed directly. Columbus — where Kroger and Giant Eagle have stores within walking distance of each other in multiple neighborhoods — is exactly the kind of overlap regulators look at. The deal isn't expected to close until 2027 at the earliest, and it'll face real scrutiny before then.

For now, both stores are open and competing for your grocery run. That may not last.

A Note From Nick

You Asked How to Help. Here’s How.

A few of you have reached out asking how you can support Dublin Daily — and honestly, it means a lot just to hear that. Here's what actually helps.

The single biggest thing: forward this to a neighbor, a friend, or anyone who loves Dublin and might not know we exist yet. Word of mouth is everything for a local newsletter. Or just share dublinohiodaily.com next time Dublin comes up in conversation.

If you ever have a tip — a local business worth spotlighting, an event coming up, something happening in your neighborhood — hit reply and tell us. That's the fuel that keeps this going.

We also have sponsors who make Dublin Daily free. If something catches your eye, click their links — it makes a real difference.

Thanks for being here. Dublin is a better place to live when we're all looking out for each other — and that's really what all this is about.
