The Secret Behind How Invincible Generated $450M+ In Streaming Revenue

Invincible has been the #1 show on Prime Video for multiple seasons. It generated $450M+ in streaming revenue through Season 2 alone and achieved an unprecedented 100% Rotten Tomatoes score for 3 seasons running.

But the real story is the company behind it, Skybound Entertainment.

They create compelling franchises driven by deeply loyal fan communities from their independently owned 250+ IP library.

They grew Invincible from a comic book into a hit TV series generating hundreds of millions of dollars. It’s resulted in a $700M valuation for the company so far.

Now, Skybound is building new franchises using the same model.

What’s next for Invincible? A recently launched video game, Invincible VS, into the $300B games market. And making it one of the longest running streaming animated series.

Worth Checking Before You Head Out Today

Dublin sent out a hazardous air quality alert yesterday, urging residents to stay indoors with windows and doors closed, and to watch for coughing, shortness of breath, or throat irritation.

The forecast has things improving today, but as of when we're writing this, that's not locked in yet — conditions can shift fast.

Worth Checking Before You Head Out Today

Other communities across central Ohio have been postponing events and closing pools and amenities because of the air quality. So even if today looks better on paper in Dublin, it's worth checking twice: confirm the current air quality yourself, and check with organizers before heading to anything outdoors.

Before you head out, you can check the current air quality status here.

Stay safe, out there!

Record Turnout at Darree Fields — Air Quality Permitting

Remember the archery tournament we mentioned last week? Turns out it's much larger than many of us realized. In fact, it will be the biggest one yet. More than 900 archers have registered for the Buckeye Classic, which would break the all-time participation record for one of these national qualifying events — the current record is 845, set just last month in California.

Record Turnout at Darree Fields — Air Quality Permitting

Team rounds kicked things off yesterday, and individual competition was scheduled to get underway this morning at Darree Fields, air quality permitting — worth checking the tournament's own updates before heading over. A number of past champions are set to defend their titles, including Brady Ellison and Casey Kaufhold — both of whom have already locked in spots at the national finals in August.

If you want to watch, Sunday's the big day. Gold medal matches are scheduled to start at 2 p.m. Swing by Darree Fields this weekend — it's free, and probably worth seeing in person.

Another Remarkable Dublin Kid, Another Big Honor

I don't know what's in the Dublin water, but this town has a habit of turning out remarkable young athletes — and a surprising number of them are just as sharp in the classroom. Add Audrey Ryu to that list.

Audrey Ryu grew up here in Dublin and now plays golf for Furman, all the way down in South Carolina. She was just named the Southern Conference's Female Athlete of the Year for the second year in a row — the top individual honor across every sport in the conference, voted on by the athletic directors and media at every school. And the voting wasn't close: she pulled 11 first-place votes and finished more than 30 points ahead of the next closest golfer.

Another Remarkable Dublin Kid, Another Big Honor

She earned it on the course. Ryu won medalist honors at the SoCon Championship for the second year in a row, leading her team to the conference title, and posted a 72.73 stroke average over the season with six top-11 finishes, including a sixth-place showing at the Valspar Augusta Invitational.

Off the course, she's just as impressive — a biology major with a 3.96 GPA, a concert pianist, and someone doing actual cancer pathology research with Prisma Health, alongside published chemistry research out of Furman's labs.

Wherever she ends up next, Dublin can say she got her start here.

A Note From Nick

You Asked How to Help. Here’s How.

A few of you have reached out asking how you can support Dublin Daily — and honestly, it means a lot just to hear that. Here's what actually helps.

The single biggest thing: forward this to a neighbor, a friend, or anyone who loves Dublin and might not know we exist yet. Word of mouth is everything for a local newsletter. Or just share dublinohiodaily.com next time Dublin comes up in conversation.

If you ever have a tip — a local business worth spotlighting, an event coming up, something happening in your neighborhood — hit reply and tell us. That's the fuel that keeps this going.

We also have sponsors who make Dublin Daily free. If something catches your eye, click their links — it makes a real difference.

Thanks for being here. Dublin is a better place to live when we're all looking out for each other — and that's really what all this is about.
