Your competitor isn’t better. Just better known.
You know the feeling. The competitor down the street is always packed, and you know you're better. It's rarely about who's best. It's about who comes to mind when people decide.

Every morning, 4,500+ of your Dublin neighbors get this newsletter. Give me 15 minutes and I'll show you how to become the name they think of.

A Big Shift for This Dublin Tech Firm
Bold Penguin has been one of Dublin’s more interesting tech companies for years.
It started here in 2016 with a pretty simple idea: make it easier for insurance agents to find coverage for small businesses.
But Bold Penguin has been changing.
Instead of only building the technology that connects agents with insurance companies, Bold Penguin is now getting directly involved in placing some of that insurance itself.
Last year, the company bought another insurance marketplace called SquareRisk, which expanded that side of the business. Today, Bold Penguin says it can place coverage with more than 40 insurance carriers across 30 different types of commercial insurance.
And this week came another sign of that shift.
Bold Penguin was accepted as a member of the Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers, which now describes the Dublin company as a “digital broker for commercial insurance.”
There’s quite a bit of business flowing through it too. Bold Penguin says its technology facilitated $12.45 billion in insurance premiums over the past year.
So 10 years after starting here as an insurance technology company, Bold Penguin is increasingly becoming part of the business it originally built technology to serve.

Two Dublin Golfers Are Up for Player of the Year
The Columbus Dispatch is asking readers to vote for the top high school boys golfer in Central Ohio this regular season.
And Dublin has two of the 12 finalists — both from Jerome.
Senior Brady Barnum finished the regular season with a 68.88 average and won eight events. He’s committed to play golf at Georgia.
Fellow senior Evan Menges finished with a 72.88 average and was named OCC-Cardinal Player of the Year after helping Jerome win its 19th consecutive league title.
Voting is open through noon on October 6. You can cast your vote here.

Critical Deadline for Some Dublin Families
If your high school student is one of the students who will be moved to a different Dublin high school next year, it’s time to decide whether they’re actually going to move.
Dublin City Schools have opened its School Determination Form for affected freshmen, sophomores and juniors.
The students can either move to their newly assigned high school next year or stay at their current school through graduation. If they stay, their family will need to provide transportation.
And it’s an important decision: once the form is submitted, the choice is permanent. If you don’t submit one, your student will automatically move to the newly assigned school.
The deadline is October 16.
DCS says affected families should check their email or ParentSquare for the form and next steps.

Men, You've Been Misinformed
Men's skin is about 25% thicker than women's, but thicker skin doesn't mean better aging. It means delayed collapse. For years, your skin looks resilient. Then collagen declines, and when it does, it drops hard: deeper wrinkles, heavier under-eye bags, more dark spots showing up all at once.
Most men were never taught to get ahead of this. Women were. And by the time the signs show up, you're playing catch-up.
Particle Face Cream was built precisely for this. One 6-in-1 formula engineered for men's skin — reduces eye bags, dark spots, and wrinkles, restores firmness, hydrates deeply, and revives dull tone. No complicated routine. Over 1,000,000 men already use it. Try it risk-free with a 30-day money-back guarantee.
A Note From Nick
You Asked How to Help. Here’s How.
A few of you have reached out asking how you can support Dublin Daily — and honestly, it means a lot just to hear that. Here's what actually helps.
The single biggest thing: forward this to a neighbor, a friend, or anyone who loves Dublin and might not know we exist yet. Word of mouth is everything for a local newsletter. Or just share dublinohiodaily.com next time Dublin comes up in conversation.
If you ever have a tip — a local business worth spotlighting, an event coming up, something happening in your neighborhood — hit reply and tell us. That's the fuel that keeps this going.
We also have sponsors who make Dublin Daily free. If something catches your eye, click their links — it makes a real difference.
Thanks for being here. Dublin is a better place to live when we're all looking out for each other — and that's really what all this is about.
