Your K-Cup Has Been Sitting in a Warehouse for Months
That grocery store pod? It was roasted long before it hit the shelf. Coffee starts losing flavor within weeks of roasting — which is why your morning cup tastes flat, no matter how nice your machine is.
Angelino's does it differently. A third-generation roaster in Los Angeles, they roast, grind, and seal every pod in-house for peak freshness, then ship it to your door within days of roasting. The difference is the first thing you'll notice: real aroma, real flavor, no bitterness.
Mix and match from 50+ specialty coffees, teas, and flavored blends — all Keurig®-compatible — and save more with every box you add, up to 34% off at 12+. Order once whenever you're running low, or subscribe for an extra 5% if that's easier. Entirely up to you.
New customers get 15% off their first order — applied automatically, no code needed.

Scioto High School's New Wing Just Opened
Dublin Scioto High School has a new wing, and it's officially open. District and city leaders cut the ribbon the other day before the school board meeting.
The addition adds 27 classrooms and four science labs, plus a bigger cafeteria — enough to handle about 675 more students than the building could hold before. That's the whole point: this is the 2023 levy money finally showing up as actual walls and desks, and it's also step one in easing the redistricting crunch everyone's been bracing for.
Don't expect it to feel full right away. Most of that new space sits empty until 2027-28, once redistricting actually starts moving kids over.
Scioto kids walk back in for the first day of school in a few days, and this time there's a brand-new wing waiting for them.

A Reason to Cheer for the Badgers This Fall?
Football season's almost here, and around Dublin that usually means one thing: OSU. But this year, there's a decent case for keeping an eye on Wisconsin too.
Hammond Russell IV grew up in Dublin and played his high school ball at Coffman, starting out — of all things — as a quarterback, before switching to the defensive line as a sophomore. By senior year, he'd grown into an All-State lineman. Ohio State never made him an offer.
He ended up at West Virginia instead, staying loyal there for five years, through a coaching change, and getting his degree before deciding to transfer this winter. Now he's trying to earn a spot on Wisconsin's defensive line, and the early reviews are good — his new head coach has already praised how he carries himself, comparing him to one of last year's key starters.
So if you're looking for a second team to root for this season, there's a hometown kid trying to make it happen on a Big Ten roster — worth a little attention once the season kicks off.
You can read more about Hammond Russel IV here.

Did a Tornado Just Hit Dublin?
If you were anywhere near Dublin yesterday morning around 10:30, you know it got bad fast. Wind gusts hit 82 mph, and there's a real chance it was actually a tornado passing through on its way toward Ohio State — nothing's confirmed yet, but the weather service may send people out this week to check.
Trees and power lines came down all over town — Frantz Road, Emerald Parkway, Muirfield Drive, the ramp from 33 to 270 South, Dublin and Rings Roads, plus a tree right at Shier-Rings and Shamrock Court.
Across central Ohio, more than 100,000 people lost power at the worst of it, and AEP said it could take a couple days to get everyone back on given the scale of the damage. If you're dealing with any downed lines near you, just stay clear — even the ones that look dead.

A Note From Nick
You Asked How to Help. Here’s How.
A few of you have reached out asking how you can support Dublin Daily — and honestly, it means a lot just to hear that. Here's what actually helps.
The single biggest thing: forward this to a neighbor, a friend, or anyone who loves Dublin and might not know we exist yet. Word of mouth is everything for a local newsletter. Or just share dublinohiodaily.com next time Dublin comes up in conversation.
If you ever have a tip — a local business worth spotlighting, an event coming up, something happening in your neighborhood — hit reply and tell us. That's the fuel that keeps this going.
We also have sponsors who make Dublin Daily free. If something catches your eye, click their links — it makes a real difference.
Thanks for being here. Dublin is a better place to live when we're all looking out for each other — and that's really what all this is about.
