Books closed Sunday. You found out Monday morning.

Most small teams close the books late, by hand, on a Friday nobody wanted to work. Viktor does it before you ask. He is an AI employee that lives in Slack and Microsoft Teams and runs your month-end close on a schedule. He reconciles Stripe, QuickBooks, and your bank, catches duplicate charges and anomalies, disputes them, updates the runway model, and rebuilds the board deck. Sunday night it is done and posted to #finance. Monday morning you read it with coffee, already finished. Viktor works across 3,200+ integrations, keeps your data private (it never trains models on it), and is SOC 2 certified. Start free with $100 in credits, no credit card.

Dublin's Biggest Car Show Is Back — a 43-Year Tradition

Nearly 1,000 classic cars are about to take over Metro Center this weekend, and it's not a new thing — Dublin's hosted this one for 43 years running.

The Arthritis Foundation Charity Auto Show and Cruise-In runs Friday and Saturday at 555 Metro Place North, and it's grown into one of the largest charity car shows in the Midwest. Expect street rods, classic cars, and street machines lined up for judging, with hundreds of trophies on the line — including a run of 6-foot trophies handed out Friday night. Live music and food trucks fill out the rest of it.

Dublin's Biggest Car Show Is Back — a 43-Year Tradition

Worth knowing if you're driving through that area either day: roads inside Metro Center will be one-way both Friday and Saturday to handle the crowds, so budget a little extra time if you're headed that direction.

Daily tickets run $20, kids 12 and under get in free, and proceeds go toward arthritis research. Been a Dublin summer staple for over four decades — worth a look even if you're not a car person.

Local Kids Are Bringing Newsies to Life This Week

If you've got kids who love musical theater, mark this one down: Abbey Theater is putting on Newsies Jr. this week, running Thursday through Saturday at Coffman Amphitheater.

Local Kids Are Bringing Newsies to Life This Week

It's the shortened, 60-minute version of the Disney musical about a band of turn-of-the-century newsboys who go on strike after publishers hike prices at their expense — and learn along the way that they're stronger banding together than going it alone. Rest assured, nothing like that could ever happen here — Dublin Daily's always been free, and it's staying that way.

Local kids make up the cast, so it's the kind of show where you might spot a familiar face or two from around Dublin. Performances run July 16-19. Tickets are available here.

Does Bridge Park Really Need a Third Hotel?

Tempo by Hilton just got approved for Bridge North last week, and Ohio's about to get its very first one — right here in Dublin.

Does Bridge Park Really Need a Third Hotel?

What makes Tempo worth knowing about is the concept itself. It's Hilton's newer, wellness-leaning brand — built more around routine and recovery than a typical overnight stay, with rooms designed for mornings and nights differently, some even including in-room workout equipment. There are only a handful open nationally so far, and Dublin's about to be the one that puts Ohio on that list.

It also means Bridge Park's hotel scene is getting genuinely crowded. Between the AC Hotel already running and Cameron Mitchell's boutique hotel also in the works nearby, that's three hotels taking shape within a few blocks of each other. Good news next time you need somewhere close for out-of-town guests — Dublin's turning into a real place to stay, not just visit.

It makes you wonder, though, how many hotels one corner of town can actually fill before rooms start sitting empty.

A Note From Nick

You Asked How to Help. Here’s How.

A few of you have reached out asking how you can support Dublin Daily — and honestly, it means a lot just to hear that. Here's what actually helps.

The single biggest thing: forward this to a neighbor, a friend, or anyone who loves Dublin and might not know we exist yet. Word of mouth is everything for a local newsletter. Or just share dublinohiodaily.com next time Dublin comes up in conversation.

If you ever have a tip — a local business worth spotlighting, an event coming up, something happening in your neighborhood — hit reply and tell us. That's the fuel that keeps this going.

We also have sponsors who make Dublin Daily free. If something catches your eye, click their links — it makes a real difference.

Thanks for being here. Dublin is a better place to live when we're all looking out for each other — and that's really what all this is about.
