Silver Is Up 402% Since 2020. Gold, 186%

Silver has more than doubled gold's return since March 2020, even after a 53% correction from its January peak.

Our research team sees a familiar pattern. Silver's returns more than doubled gold's from 1974 to 1987. After the financial crisis, silver beat gold five-fold in three years.

The reason is size. In 2025, investors put about $15.6 billion into physical silver and silver ETFs, against $111.2 billion for gold. Small inflows move silver hard.

Silver is also in its sixth straight annual supply deficit. The Ultimate Silver Playbook explains what the team expects next. It's free.

When Will Dublin Pick Up Your Leaves?

It's that time of year again. The leaves are starting to fall, and Dublin's annual leaf collection begins Monday, October 12.

But before you start raking everything into a big pile, there are a few things worth knowing.

First, the city collects leaves by neighborhood zones, so check the map and schedule below to see when crews are expected in your area.

When Will Dublin Pick Up Your Leaves?

When you're ready to rake, pile your leaves on the grass between the curb and sidewalk, not in the street. And make sure the piles aren't blocked by trees, parked cars or mailboxes.

Crews may arrive any day during your collection week, so don't wait until you see the trucks. The city therefore asks that your leaves be ready by 7 a.m. Monday, even if crews won't reach your street until later in the week.

You can find more information on the city's fall leaf collection page.

Dublin Now Has 36% More Flock Cameras

Quite a few of you have noticed more Flock cameras popping up around Dublin lately and reached out to ask whether the city has been adding them.

And you were right to notice.

When we first covered the cameras in July, Dublin had 25 of them. That number has now grown to 34, an increase of 36%.

Dublin Now Has 36% More Flock Cameras

Dublin Police says the cameras help officers investigate crimes and locate stolen vehicles. Just the other day, police credited the technology, along with a resident's tip and cooperation with Hilliard Police, in an investigation that led to six people being charged following an attempted car theft.

At the same time, some of our neighbors remain concerned about privacy, particularly the fact that these cameras record license plates even when drivers aren't suspected of any crime. And it's worth mentioning that several people who've reached out to us have also had very positive things to say about Dublin's police officers. Their concerns are about the cameras, not the officers themselves.

And whether you like the cameras or not, at least now we all have a better idea of just how many are out there.

A Note From Nick

You Asked How to Help. Here’s How.

A few of you have reached out asking how you can support Dublin Daily — and honestly, it means a lot just to hear that. Here's what actually helps.

The single biggest thing: forward this to a neighbor, a friend, or anyone who loves Dublin and might not know we exist yet. Word of mouth is everything for a local newsletter. Or just share dublinohiodaily.com next time Dublin comes up in conversation.

If you ever have a tip — a local business worth spotlighting, an event coming up, something happening in your neighborhood — hit reply and tell us. That's the fuel that keeps this going.

We also have sponsors who make Dublin Daily free. If something catches your eye, click their links — it makes a real difference.

Thanks for being here. Dublin is a better place to live when we're all looking out for each other — and that's really what all this is about.
