Your K-Cup Has Been Sitting in a Warehouse for Months

That grocery store pod? It was roasted long before it hit the shelf. Coffee starts losing flavor within weeks of roasting — which is why your morning cup tastes flat, no matter how nice your machine is.

Angelino's does it differently. A third-generation roaster in Los Angeles, they roast, grind, and seal every pod in-house for peak freshness, then ship it to your door within days of roasting. The difference is the first thing you'll notice: real aroma, real flavor, no bitterness.

Mix and match from 50+ specialty coffees, teas, and flavored blends — all Keurig®-compatible — and save more with every box you add, up to 34% off at 12+. Order once whenever you're running low, or subscribe for an extra 5% if that's easier. Entirely up to you.

New customers get 15% off their first order — applied automatically, no code needed.

Nationals Again? Dublin Cheer Delivers

If you've followed Dublin cheer for a few years, you probably know just how good these girls are. And how much work goes into getting them there.

So the news that Dublin Jerome High School and the Dublin 12–18 stunt team have qualified for nationals again might not come as a huge surprise.

But that doesn't make it any less impressive.

Nationals Again? Dublin Cheer Delivers

Head coach Carla Crawford and her fellow coaches have built a program where trips to nationals have become almost an annual tradition. And behind every one of those trips are months of hard work that most of us never see.

Last year, there were many days when the girls practiced for a couple of hours after school, then were back at it at 5 a.m. the next morning. That's the kind of dedication it takes. And now that they've qualified, there's still plenty more work ahead.

In February, they'll head to ESPN's Wide World of Sports in Florida, including some girls who are still in middle school.

And perhaps that's the best thing about a program like this. Long before these girls get to Florida, they're learning what it means to show up for each other, even on the mornings when most of Dublin is still asleep.

Has Dublin Ever Had This Much Halloween?

We covered quite a few Halloween events last week, and I thought we'd pretty much exhausted the list. Apparently not.

Today, Vista Community Church is hosting a Trunk-or-Treat, complete with candy, games and activities. Then tomorrow, Bridge Park is getting in on the fun with its first Crawl-O-Ween, a costume-themed bar crawl.

Has Dublin Ever Had This Much Halloween?

And then Thursday is of course the busiest night of all. North Market Bridge Park is hosting Morticia's Market, with vintage clothing, handmade art, and live music. And across Dublin, neighborhoods will be welcoming trick-or-treaters from 6 to 8 p.m.

That's a lot of Halloween for one town. And I'm beginning to wonder just how many pounds of candy Dublin's kids will bring home this week.

Dublin's Deer Removal Begins Sunday

Well, after all the discussions, surveys and disagreements about Dublin's deer population, the city's plan is finally about to get underway.

Starting this Sunday, November 1, wildlife professionals will begin removing up to 100 deer from parks and green spaces around Dublin, with the work continuing through March.

And if you live near one of those areas, there are a few things worth knowing.

Dublin's Deer Removal Begins Sunday

The removals will happen overnight, with Dublin police overseeing the operations. The city isn't sharing the exact dates or times for each location, but signs will be posted nearby. The list includes Avery Park, Indian Run Meadows, Scioto Park and a number of smaller neighborhood green spaces. For residents living near one of the designated areas, the city's map of removal locations is worth a look before Sunday.

It's been a difficult issue for Dublin. Some residents have dealt with aggressive deer and gardens that seem to disappear overnight, while others simply enjoy seeing them wander through the neighborhood.

Perhaps the hardest part of this debate is that both things can be true: deer are part of what makes Dublin's green spaces special, and having too many of them living so close to people can create real problems. Finding the right balance was never going to please everyone.
