Is Your website Actually Bringing in Customers?

We're Sparqflow — we do web design right here in Dublin. If your website hasn't sent you a new customer in a while, that's a fixable problem, not a fact of life.

We recently took one local business from a quiet site to a 74% traffic jump and 200% more leads in two months.

Curious what that could look like for your business?

Try 20+ Restaurants in Dublin in One Night

If you’re anything like me, there are probably a few restaurants around Dublin you’ve been meaning to try but just haven’t gotten around to yet.

Well, apparently there’s a way to try a whole bunch of them in one night.

Try 20+ Restaurants in Dublin in One Night

Taste of Dublin is coming up Sept. 29, with unlimited tastings from more than 20 restaurants inside Wendy’s headquarters. The list includes The Pearl, The Avenue, Bristol Republic, Cap City, Takumi Sushi, Bridge’s End Brewing, The Refectory and quite a few others.

Tickets are $79, which isn’t exactly cheap. But if you’ve been wanting to try some new places, this is certainly one way to make a dent in the list.

And apparently we’re not the only community doing this. The Dispatch found similar events happening in Bexley, Hilliard and Delaware this fall, with several other Central Ohio communities holding their own versions earlier this year.

Taste of Dublin runs from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Sept. 29. You can see who’s participating and get tickets here.

Dublin Police Needs Our Vote

Here’s an easy way to support the Dublin Police that takes about 30 seconds.

One of their cruisers is in the Light Ohio Blue First Responder Photo Contest, and our police department is asking us to help it win.

Dublin Police Needs Our Vote

The contest features first responder vehicles from departments around Ohio, with the winners decided entirely by public voting.

And if you really want to help, you can vote once every day, not just once.

Dublin’s Piece of a $440 Million Collapse

One of you sent me a New York Times story yesterday that had a pretty interesting Dublin connection.

Remember Guidepost Montessori?

Dublin’s Piece of a $440 Million Collapse

Until last year, the national Montessori chain had two locations here in Dublin — one on Avery Road and another in Muirfield Village.

Then, in February 2025, families and teachers got some pretty surprising news: both Dublin schools would close at the end of March.

Now we have a much better idea of what was happening behind the scenes.

The New York Times published a major investigation this weekend into the $440 million collapse of the company behind Guidepost Montessori. Higher Ground Education had expanded Guidepost at an extraordinary pace, growing into a network of roughly 150 schools before running into serious financial trouble. The company ultimately filed for bankruptcy in June 2025.

So those two Montessori schools that seemingly disappeared from Dublin last year? Turns out they were a small piece of a much bigger $440 million story.

You can read the full New York Times investigation here.

A Note From Nick

You Asked How to Help. Here’s How.

A few of you have reached out asking how you can support Dublin Daily — and honestly, it means a lot just to hear that. Here’s what actually helps.

The single biggest thing: forward this to a neighbor, a friend, or anyone who loves Dublin and might not know we exist yet. Word of mouth is everything for a local newsletter. Or just share dublinohiodaily.com next time Dublin comes up in conversation.

If you ever have a tip — a local business worth spotlighting, an event coming up, something happening in your neighborhood — hit reply and tell us. That’s the fuel that keeps this going.

And if you own a local business — or know someone who does — we’d love to hear from you. Our advertisers are what allow us to keep Dublin Daily free, and we’re always looking for great local businesses that want to reach people right here in Dublin.

And when you see one of our sponsors in the newsletter, give them a look. Supporting the businesses that support Dublin Daily makes a real difference.

Thanks for being here. Dublin is a better place to live when we’re all looking out for each other — and that’s really what all this is about.
