230 Students’ Stories About America — Vote Before Tuesday

With America turning 250 this July 4th, Dublin City Schools asked students from preschool through high school to share their own slice of that story — through art, music, and writing. More than 230 student works came back, covering family stories, local history, and their own dreams for the future. Every one of the district's 25 school buildings participated.

The community gallery is open and worth a few minutes of your time. The community vote is open too — and it closes Tuesday, May 26. You can weigh in on your favorites across elementary, middle school, and high school. Results get announced May 29.

Today is Graduation for Our Dublin Seniors

All three Dublin City Schools graduation ceremonies are today at the Schottenstein Center on OSU's campus — free and open to everyone who wants to celebrate.

Coffman walks in at 1:30 p.m., Jerome at 4:30 p.m., and Scioto at 7:30 p.m. All three ceremonies are being livestreamed — Coffman, Jerome, Scioto. If you've got family or friends who can't make it in person, these are worth passing along.

A few things to know before you go: parking is $15 and cashless only. No bags or purses — wristlets up to 5"x8"x1" are fine. Cameras are welcome but no tripods. The entire venue is cashless.

Congratulations to our Class of 2026.

The Dublin Spa Raid Is Part of Something Much Larger

The Rejuvenation Spa raid we covered last week wasn't random. It was one of several specifically targeted locations in a coordinated statewide human trafficking operation called "Operation Spring Cleaning" — and Dublin was on the list by name.

The operation ran May 13-20, resulting in 122 arrests and 38 people facing serious felony charges including trafficking in persons and compelling prostitution.
