Costco Shoppers Say This $35 Find Is a "Facelift" in a Bottle

If wrinkles and sagging skin are making you look older than you feel, this viral Costco beauty find is getting serious attention. Experts say Auvoria's Korean skincare serum targets the #1 cause of wrinkles people ignore — collagen-signal breakdown below the surface of the skin. Women nationwide say their skin looks visibly tighter, smoother, and years younger after only weeks of use. Now, the same formula flying off Costco shelves is available online without a membership.

Something New is Turning Heads on Muirfield Drive

You may have noticed something new on Muirfield Drive. Dublin's Art in Public Places program just installed a sculpture called "S/WING" on a knoll right near Muirfield Village Golf Club, and the thinking behind it is pretty interesting once you know it.

The idea starts with a simple observation — a bird's wings in flight and a golf swing look remarkably similar in motion. The sculpture captures that, with Jack Nicklaus's iconic swing as the specific inspiration, nodding to every swing made at the Memorial since 1976. It's designed with green elements woven into the form so it looks like it's growing right out of the ground rather than sitting on top of it.

There's an Irish angle too, which feels right for Dublin. Birds carry real meaning in both Irish-Celtic tradition and in the Shawnee and Wyandot history connected to this land — seen as symbols of transition and connection. A small detail, but one that ties the whole thing together.

Worth slowing down for next time you're on Muirfield Drive. Just stay safe.

If Your Kid Goes to OSU, Read This

We don't typically cover stories that don't happen in Dublin. However, this one still hit close to home. A man who pleaded guilty in 2021 to planning a mass shooting at Ohio State — targeting sorority houses, with a stated goal of killing 3,000 people — was released from federal prison and moved into an apartment near campus in mid-May. The U.S. Department of Justice is now in court trying to require him to live more than two miles from any Ohio university.

There's a Dublin detail buried in the court filings worth noting. Before moving near campus, he applied for an apartment in Dublin. His application was rejected. He was approved for the one near Ohio State.

The DOJ hearing is scheduled for June 25. Ohio State has said it supports the government's request to move him. He is formally banned from campus and his attorney says he has not violated that prohibition and has made significant progress in rehabilitation since his conviction.

We're sharing this because many of our readers have students on campus right now. Full story at NBC4 here.

Explosives and Drugs Land a Dublin Man in Court

Some unusual news involving a Dublin neighbor. A 70-year-old Dublin man was indicted this week on felony charges connected to a fire that broke out in the Delaware Wildlife Area back in March.

According to investigators, he fired a rifle at an exploding target device that ignited the blaze. What investigators found afterward made the case considerably more serious — shell casings, plastic components rigged with nails and screws taped to a tree, and what they described as a possible test of a homemade explosive device. An exploded oxygen tank was also found in his truck.

He's facing two felonies and two drug-related misdemeanors. Bond was set at $500,000. He's currently under house arrest.

He declined to comment when approached, saying only that his attorney had advised him not to. The case is still under investigation. Full story at 10TV here.

A Note From Nick

You Asked How to Help. Here’s How.

A few of you have reached out asking how you can support Dublin Daily — and honestly, it means a lot just to hear that. Here's what actually helps.

The single biggest thing: forward this to a neighbor, a friend, or anyone who loves Dublin and might not know we exist yet. Word of mouth is everything for a local newsletter.

If you're on Facebook, following our page and sharing the occasional post helps us reach more of the community. And if you ever have a tip — a local business worth spotlighting, an event coming up, something happening in your neighborhood — hit reply and tell us. That's the fuel that keeps this going.

And if something from one of our sponsors catches your eye, give them a look. That's what keeps Dublin Daily free.

Thanks for being here. Dublin is a better place to live when we're all looking out for each other — and that's really all this is.
