20 Million Americans use a Dublin company for Health Care

If you've lived in Dublin for any length of time, you've heard of Quantum Health — they're hard to miss with their growing footprint in town. But did you know they're now helping over 20 million people navigate their health insurance, across more than 500 corporate clients nationwide? That makes them one of the largest healthcare navigation companies in the country, quietly run from right here.

What they actually do, in plain terms: if your employer signs up with them, they become the people you call when you need help making sense of healthcare. Trying to figure out what's covered, finding a specialist, getting a prescription sorted out, dealing with a surprise bill — they help you through it. The pitch is basically "one phone number instead of twelve."

They just announced a new partnership focused on prescription costs (one of those constantly-growing headaches), which is part of an ongoing push to bring the same kind of clarity to pharmacy decisions that they've built around medical care. Not bad for a company many of us drive past without thinking too much about.

Dublin’s Senior Living Scene May be Better than You Think

If you've got aging parents (or you're starting to think about your own future), here's something worth knowing: Dublin has multiple senior living communities that have earned real national recognition — not the "best of" lists they buy themselves, but legitimate third-party ratings.

Sunrise of Dublin was named Best Assisted Living in U.S. News & World Report's 2026 Best Senior Living ratings — those come from surveys of over half a million residents and family members nationwide. They've also earned national WELL ratings for workplace and resident safety.

Dublin Retirement Village by Senior Star, the one on Post Road backed up against Red Trabue Nature Preserve, has been recognized by the Alzheimer's Association for their memory care training program. They've also been named to Fortune's Best Workplaces in Aging Services for six straight years.

Friendship Village of Dublin runs a "LifeCare" model — a continuous-care community with a Central Ohio Primary Care clinic on site, meaning residents can see a doctor without leaving campus.

None of this is a recommendation — every family's situation is different, and the right fit depends on health needs, budget, and personality. But nice to know that when the time comes to think about these things, there are several well-regarded options right here in town.

If You Want a Fourth of July Table, Register Today

The Wallflowers are headlining Dublin's Independence Day Celebration this year — and if you want a reserved table on the field at Coffman Stadium, here's what you need to do today.

Registration closes at midnight tonight. You'll need an active DCRC (Dublin Community Recreation Center) account with verified Dublin residency. If you already have one, head to the city's Independence Day page at dublinohiousa.gov to register. If you don't, you can set up an account at the same site — just do it first thing this morning so you have time to register before the window closes.

Here's the rest of the timeline: on May 13, confirmed registrants get an email with their assigned time slot, and the actual sale runs May 14-15. Tables are $200 each, seat eight people, and residents can buy up to two per household. The earlier you register, the earlier your time slot — so today is the day if you want a good shot. Unsold tables open to the general public at $250 starting July 1.

If reserved tables aren't your thing, stadium wristbands (bleacher seating) go on sale to residents on June 14 at noon for $5 each.

As for the show itself: The Wallflowers (yes, "One Headlight" Wallflowers — that song turns 30 this year) are headlining the evening celebration starting at 4:30 p.m., with rising country artist Adam Sanders opening. Fireworks at 9:50 p.m. as always.
