Yeah. That Arnold Schwarzenegger.

So do Codie Sanchez, Scott Galloway, Colin & Samir, Shaan Puri, and Jay Shetty. And none of them are doing it for fun. They're doing it because a list you own compounds in ways that social media never will.

Hotels off Upper Metro and Lyra got hit with a wave of car break-ins overnight

People staying at hotels off Upper Metro Place in Dublin woke up Wednesday morning to smashed windows and cars that had been broken into overnight.

Police say more than 15 vehicles were targeted between Dublin and Columbus. In Dublin, the break-ins happened at the Embassy Suites, Home2 Suites, and TownePlace Suites — all right around Upper Metro.

City officials said a few small items were stolen in the Dublin cases, but no firearms were taken.

Around the same time, Columbus police were responding to similar calls near Polaris, including at a hotel on Lyra Drive where officers believe a gun may have been stolen from a vehicle.

Investigators say the suspects may have been driving a white car, but it’s still not clear if all of the break-ins are connected.

And from us at Dublin Daily — definitely make sure your car is locked and try not to leave valuables sitting inside overnight, especially in hotel parking lots.

The Memorial Tournament is turning 50. Again.

So the Memorial is turning 50 this year. Well — sort of. Last year was billed as the 50th playing, but this year actually marks 50 years since the tournament started right here in Dublin back in 1976. Either way, it's a big one.

You've probably seen the anniversary signs around Bridge Park by now. They've also put together a commemorative book for people going to the tournament, and they're selling Roger Maltbie bears over at the Dublin Market — limited edition, with the proceeds going to Nationwide Children's.

The thing about the Memorial is how it's stayed our tournament after all these years. The same volunteers come back every spring. Families have been going for generations. And a lot of the players keep returning because they genuinely enjoy being here. That was the whole point from the start — make something good for Dublin and give back — and 50 years later, that's still really what it is.

The course has kept evolving too. Jack Nicklaus is always tinkering with something. The main change this year is a small update to the 15th hole that should look great on TV and for the people walking the course.

And the field is a strong one again. Scottie Scheffler is back going for three in a row. Patrick Cantlay and Viktor Hovland are both coming — both former winners. Justin Thomas is in as well.

It all runs June 1 through 7 at Muirfield Village — right here in our backyard.

A Dublin company just cut 25% of its team

A bit of hard news from one of our local startups. reAlpha, the AI real estate company headquartered here in Dublin, announced this week that it's letting go of about 25% of its workforce — that's full-time employees, contractors, and consultants across several departments.

The company says the cuts come down to AI: smaller teams using AI tools can now do work that used to require a lot more people. They expect the changes to be mostly done by the end of June.

It's a tough one to read. Some of those folks are our neighbors. If you know someone affected and hear of any local hiring leads worth passing along, send them our way and we'll share.
