Is Your website Actually Bringing in Customers?

We're Sparqflow — we do web design right here in Dublin. If your website hasn't sent you a new customer in a while, that's a fixable problem, not a fact of life.

We recently took one local business from a quiet site to a 74% traffic jump and 200% more leads in two months.

Curious what that could look like for your business?

Dublin's Runners Are Heading to State!

It's turning into quite a fall for Dublin's high school athletes. We've already seen some impressive achievements in golf and soccer. And now our cross-country runners are giving us another reason to cheer.

Dublin Jerome's boys won their second consecutive regional championship on Saturday, beating Gahanna Lincoln by just two points. That's an incredibly close finish in a race involving some of Central Ohio's best high school runners.

Dublin's Runners Are Heading to State!

And it's not just Jerome. Dublin Coffman's boys also earned a place at the state championships, while several girls from Jerome, Coffman and Scioto qualified individually. Scioto is sending two boys to state as well.

So all three Dublin high schools will be represented at Ohio's state cross-country championships this Saturday, November 7, at Fortress Obetz.

That's a pretty impressive showing for one community. You can read more about the qualifying teams and runners here.

Redistricting Letters Are Coming This Week

If your family is affected by Dublin's high school redistricting, keep an eye on the mailbox this week.

Dublin City Schools is sending out confirmation letters showing which high school your student will attend next year, based on the choice your family already made.

Redistricting Letters Are Coming This Week

The important part? You have until November 30 to report any errors.

These aren't new assignments or another chance to choose a school. They're simply a way to make sure everyone is on the right roster before course scheduling begins.

So when yours arrives, give it a quick look. Better to catch a mistake now than when schedules are being put together.

Intel Is Moving. What About Dublin?

Remember all the excitement when Intel announced it was building two enormous computer chip factories in New Albany?

Well, after years of delays, things finally seem to be moving along again. A couple of weeks ago, construction crews put up the first major roof support at the site. That's a big step, although there's still a long way to go. The first factory was originally supposed to start making chips in 2025. Now we're looking at 2030 or 2031.

But do you remember how Dublin was hoping to benefit from all this?

Intel Is Moving. What About Dublin?

Back in 2023, our city hired consultants to figure out how we might benefit from Intel coming to Central Ohio. Dublin wasn't planning to make chips, of course. The hope was that some of the companies working with Intel might want to set up offices or other operations here, bringing jobs in engineering, research and technology.

It sounded like a pretty good idea at the time. But three years later, it's hard to point to much that's actually come of it. Then again, with Intel's factories running so far behind schedule, maybe that's not surprising. Companies that might have followed Intel here have had plenty of reasons to hold off.

So now that construction is picking up again, the question is what happens to Dublin's plans? Could we finally start attracting some of those businesses? Or has the whole picture changed so much that what looked promising in 2023 isn't quite the same opportunity anymore?

You Asked How to Help. Here’s How.

A few of you have reached out asking how you can support Dublin Daily — and honestly, it means a lot just to hear that. Here's what actually helps.

The single biggest thing: forward this to a neighbor, a friend, or anyone who loves Dublin and might not know we exist yet. Word of mouth is everything for a local newsletter. Or just share dublinohiodaily.com next time Dublin comes up in conversation.

If you ever have a tip — a local business worth spotlighting, an event coming up, something happening in your neighborhood — hit reply and tell us. That's the fuel that keeps this going.

We also have sponsors who make Dublin Daily free. If something catches your eye, click their links — it makes a real difference.

Thanks for being here. Dublin is a better place to live when we're all looking out for each other — and that's really what all this is about.
