The #1 Roth Conversion Mistake That Costs Retirees
Most people missed the first Roth conversion window. History is offering a rare second chance — but not a long one.
With today's tax rates extended, IRA Millionaires have a brief stretch of historically low brackets left. When it closes, the math changes: higher rates, bigger required distributions, and fewer conversion opportunities each year you wait.
Craig Wear, CFP®, has spent 15+ years helping more than 3,000 families with $1M+ in IRAs plan Roth conversions — helping them avoid a projected $10B+ in lifetime taxes. His new book, Roth Conversion Reset, is the step-by-step playbook:
Lock in today's low rates
Avoid RMD surprises at 73
Protect your spouse from survivor taxes
Keep more for your heirs
The book is free — no credit card, no shipping. The full PDF lands in your inbox in minutes.

Nobody's Going to Tell You the Truth About Your Makeup
Friends are too polite. The counter at the mall is trying to sell you something. So most of us just keep wearing what we've always worn, guessing.

Our makeup consultation is different — an honest, one-on-one read on what's working, what isn't, and why, with nothing to sell you but the truth.

The Dublin Golf Event That's Changing Lives
There's a golf tournament happening at Muirfield Village tomorrow with a bigger story behind it than most. Andelyn Biosciences, the Columbus-based gene therapy company, is hosting the third annual Fore One Purpose tournament on Monday, August 24, through its nonprofit, The Andelyn Foundation.
Each year, the tournament picks one family dealing with a rare disease and puts the full weight of the event behind them. The first year raised $50,000 for a young girl with a rare neurodevelopmental disorder — she's since received the gene therapy her family had been fighting to fund. Last year's beneficiary was a 19-year-old fighting a rare, progressive disease. Combined, the tournament has raised $100,000 directly for these families since it started in 2024.
This year's looking just as strong. All the golfer spots are already sold out, and there are only a couple of sponsorships left. If you want in, you can see what's available here.

Could America’s Favorite Couple Be From Dublin?
Here’s one Dublin love story that’s suddenly getting a much bigger audience.
Annmarie and Todd DeWitt of Dublin have made it to the quarterfinals of a nationwide competition to find “America’s Favorite Couple.”
And their story actually starts right here.
The two met about 10 years ago during the Memorial Tournament at the Bogey Inn — back when the longtime Dublin institution was still packed during tournament week. The Bogey also became part of their engagement story, and the couple has now been married for five years.
Now they’re competing against couples from around the country for a $20,000 prize, a feature in Variety and a celebrity dinner date with Jeff and Emilie Goldblum and Charlie Day and Mary Elizabeth Ellis.
They’ve already survived several rounds of public voting to make the quarterfinals. The next cut comes Thursday, August 27, when the remaining couples are narrowed down for the semifinals.
So a relationship that started during Memorial week at the Bogey now has a shot at being named America’s favorite.
That’s a pretty Dublin love story.

A Note From Nick
You Asked How to Help. Here’s How.
A few of you have reached out asking how you can support Dublin Daily — and honestly, it means a lot just to hear that. Here's what actually helps.
The single biggest thing: forward this to a neighbor, a friend, or anyone who loves Dublin and might not know we exist yet. Word of mouth is everything for a local newsletter. Or just share dublinohiodaily.com next time Dublin comes up in conversation.
If you ever have a tip — a local business worth spotlighting, an event coming up, something happening in your neighborhood — hit reply and tell us. That's the fuel that keeps this going.
We also have sponsors who make Dublin Daily free. If something catches your eye, click their links — it makes a real difference.
Thanks for being here. Dublin is a better place to live when we're all looking out for each other — and that's really what all this is about.
— Nick
