Your Shampoo Is Making Your Hair Thinner. Use This Instead.

Most shampoos strip the scalp. SLS, salt, parabens — the standard formula that cleans your hair while quietly working against it. If you've noticed thinning and haven't changed your shampoo, that's where to start.

Particle Hair-Thickening Shampoo is SLS-free, salt-free, and paraben-free. It doesn't just clean — it rebuilds, from root to tip, with a science-backed formula that makes hair look and feel fuller over time. Thinning hair can quietly take a toll on how you feel every day. This is the switch that fixes it. Try it risk-free with a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Something huge is coming to the Zoo

The Columbus Zoo just announced the biggest project in its history, and a lot of us will end up there eventually — whether through a membership, a field trip, or a kid working their summer job.

It's called the John F. Wolfe Aquarium, made possible by a $50 million gift, the largest the Zoo has ever received. Once built, it'll be the largest aquarium in Ohio: over 100,000 square feet, more than a million gallons of water, and over 10,000 animals across 300 species.

Something huge is coming to the Zoo

It'll include sharks, rays, piranhas, giant stingrays, and a section built entirely around the Scioto — something no other aquarium in the country has done. There's also a coral reef section, a Pacific Northwest area with kelp forests and tide pools, and a smaller section with jellyfish, seahorses, and giant crabs.

No construction timeline yet, though it's already got some neighbors talking traffic on Riverside Drive.

West Nile Virus Found in North Dublin

Mosquitoes trapped in Dublin's north zone tested positive for West Nile virus, so Franklin County Public Health is spraying that area Sunday, June 22, around 9 p.m. — weather permitting.

West Nile Virus Found in North Dublin

It's a good time of year to remember that mosquitoes don't need much to breed. A single bucket of standing water can produce hundreds of them, and they rarely travel far from home. Emptying containers, clearing gutters, and dumping out anything holding water around the yard goes a long way.

More prevention tips here.

Summer in Dublin means a lot of time outside — worth a few minutes to make sure the mosquitoes aren't getting the same idea.

The Data Center Ban Missed a Big Deadline

A few weeks ago we wrote about Governor DeWine freezing new state tax incentives for data centers — the move that threw some uncertainty into what eventually gets built on the 370 acres west of Cosgray Road. The bigger question hanging over that whole debate just got an answer, sort of.

The Data Center Ban Missed s Big Deadline

A proposed statewide ballot measure that would have banned most large data centers outright won't make this year's ballot. Conserve Ohio, the group behind it, just announced they're short of the July 1 signature deadline. They've collected around 70,000 signatures so far, all volunteer-driven, and they're not stopping — just aiming for 2027 instead. The amendment would have blocked anything pulling more than 25 megawatts, which is most modern data centers.

The Cosgray Road land hasn't moved an inch either way. Tax incentives are still under state review. But one of the bigger wildcards for whatever eventually gets proposed out there — an outright statewide ban — just got pushed two years down the road instead of landing this fall.

Worth keeping an eye on. This started as a local zoning fight and it keeps picking up new layers.

You Asked How to Help. Here’s How.

A few of you have reached out asking how you can support Dublin Daily — and honestly, it means a lot just to hear that. Here's what actually helps.

The single biggest thing: forward this to a neighbor, a friend, or anyone who loves Dublin and might not know we exist yet. Word of mouth is everything for a local newsletter. Or just share dublinohiodaily.com next time Dublin comes up in conversation.

If you ever have a tip — a local business worth spotlighting, an event coming up, something happening in your neighborhood — hit reply and tell us. That's the fuel that keeps this going.

We also have sponsors who make Dublin Daily free. If something catches your eye, click their links — it makes a real difference.

Thanks for being here. Dublin is a better place to live when we're all looking out for each other — and that's really what all this is about.
