This Dublin Company Just Topped the List

There's a company on Stonehenge Parkway that many of us may never have heard of. But last year, it brought in $1.1 billion in revenue.

It's called Modular Assembly Innovations (MAI), and it was just ranked the largest minority-owned business in central Ohio by Columbus Business First.

This Dublin Company Just Topped the List

So what exactly does this Dublin company do? MAI works behind the scenes in the automotive industry, assembling components that eventually make their way into vehicles built by manufacturers like Honda. We're talking about everything from tires and wheels to powertrain, suspension and chassis components.

The company was founded in 2011 by Billy Vickers, who brought together three automotive assembly operations with facilities in Ohio, Indiana and Alabama. Today, MAI employs 309 people, including 112 in central Ohio.

And while most of us are familiar with Honda's enormous presence in Ohio, it's easy to overlook the network of companies that help keep those manufacturing operations running. Modular Assembly Innovations is one of them. And with $1.1 billion in annual revenue, it's a substantial part of that picture.

The Memorial Is Giving Fans a Break

It might seem a little early to be thinking about next year's Memorial Tournament, but if you're planning to go, now might actually be a good time to get your tickets. The tournament just announced that tickets for its 2027 event at Muirfield Village Golf Club are officially on sale.

And there's an incentive to buy early. Through November 30, you'll get the lowest available prices, with no additional ticket fees and the option to spread out your payments. Tickets start at $25, although that's for a practice round on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, not the competitive rounds.

The Memorial Is Giving Fans a Break

Next year's Memorial runs from May 31 through June 6.

There are also a couple of ways to attend for free. Kids 15 and under receive complimentary grounds admission with a ticketed adult. And military personnel, veterans and first responders can claim up to four free tickets for Wednesday, June 2, which includes the Golden Bear Pro-Am.

And if you're already thinking about Christmas, early ticket buyers can also receive a limited-edition Memorial holiday ornament while supplies last.

You can see the ticket options and purchase yours at memorialtickets.com.

A Note From Nick

You Asked How to Help. Here’s How.

A few of you have reached out asking how you can support Dublin Daily — and honestly, it means a lot just to hear that. Here's what actually helps.

The single biggest thing: forward this to a neighbor, a friend, or anyone who loves Dublin and might not know we exist yet. Word of mouth is everything for a local newsletter. Or just share dublinohiodaily.com next time Dublin comes up in conversation.

If you ever have a tip — a local business worth spotlighting, an event coming up, something happening in your neighborhood — hit reply and tell us. That's the fuel that keeps this going.

We also have sponsors who make Dublin Daily free. If something catches your eye, click their links — it makes a real difference.

Thanks for being here. Dublin is a better place to live when we're all looking out for each other — and that's really what all this is about.
