Dublin Has a Holiday Break Solution
If you've got kids, you probably know how tricky those two weeks around Christmas can be. School's out, but that doesn't mean work and everything else on your calendar stops.
Well, there's something happening at the Dublin Rec Center that might make those days a little easier.
They're offering full-day camps for kids ages 6–12, including the days before Christmas and the week after.
There are seven camp dates available: December 21–23, December 28–30 and January 4.
Each day runs from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with games, crafts, science and nature activities, plus special guests or activities throughout the day.
The cost is $50 per day for Dublin residents and $60 for nonresidents. Kids will need to bring their own nut-free lunch.
A few dates are already filling up, so it's worth checking availability sooner rather than later.
You can see the dates and register here.

What a $2 Billion Airport Means for Dublin
There's a massive $2 billion construction project underway at John Glenn Airport. And when you consider how many businesses we have here in Dublin, it could turn out to be a pretty important investment for our city too.
What's surprising is that they're not simply expanding the airport. They're building an entirely new terminal and plan to demolish the existing one after it opens in 2029.
The new terminal will have 36 gates, up from 29, and capacity for 13 million passengers a year. It will also have two gates equipped to handle international arrivals.
That's particularly interesting when you look at Dublin's business community.
Dublin is home to a significant number of international companies, along with local businesses that have customers, suppliers and operations around the world.
More nonstop destinations could make it easier for those companies to bring people here, travel to customers and expand their operations. And it could make Dublin a more attractive location for other businesses considering Central Ohio.
Of course, the new terminal doesn't guarantee any particular new flights. Airlines still have to see enough demand.
But imagine what a few more well-chosen nonstop routes could mean for Dublin. Not just for our vacations, but for the companies and jobs we have here.

A Note From Nick
You Asked How to Help. Here’s How.
A few of you have reached out asking how you can support Dublin Daily — and honestly, it means a lot just to hear that. Here's what actually helps.
The single biggest thing: forward this to a neighbor, a friend, or anyone who loves Dublin and might not know we exist yet. Word of mouth is everything for a local newsletter. Or just share dublinohiodaily.com next time Dublin comes up in conversation.
If you ever have a tip — a local business worth spotlighting, an event coming up, something happening in your neighborhood — hit reply and tell us. That's the fuel that keeps this going.
We also have sponsors who make Dublin Daily free. If something catches your eye, click their links — it makes a real difference.
Thanks for being here. Dublin is a better place to live when we're all looking out for each other — and that's really what all this is about.
